Q: What is the Purpose of Camelot?

The primary goal of Camelot is to provide the Arbitrum ecosystem with a native, flexible, and highly efficient liquidity layer that supports long-term project growth and offers sustainable yield to users.

Q: How Can I Participate in Camelot's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by swapping tokens, providing liquidity to earn swap fees, or locking their GRAIL tokens for xGRAIL to earn a share of protocol revenue and participate in governance.

Q: What Sets Camelot Apart from Competitors?

Unlike generic DEXs, Camelot is 'Arbitrum-native,' offering bespoke tools for protocols to launch their tokens and featuring a dual AMM that handles both stable and volatile assets with specialized efficiency.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with Camelot?

Risks include smart contract vulnerabilities, potential impermanent loss for liquidity providers, and market volatility affecting the value of the GRAIL token. These are managed through regular audits and a sustainable tokenomic model.

What is Camelot?

Camelot is an ecosystem-focused, community-driven decentralized exchange (DEX) and launchpad built on the Arbitrum network. It is designed to act as a liquidity hub, providing efficient and customizable infrastructure that allows both builders and users to leverage deep, sustainable liquidity tailored specifically for the Arbitrum ecosystem.

How Does Camelot Work?

Camelot utilizes a dual Automated Market Maker (AMM) system that supports both volatile (Uniswap V2-style) and stable (Curve-style) swaps with low slippage. It introduces a unique yield-bearing approach using non-fungible staked positions (spNFTs), allowing users to lock their liquidity for specific periods to boost rewards and receive a share of the protocol's real yield.

What Makes Camelot Unique?

Camelot stands out through its 'Real Yield' model, where protocol earnings are redistributed to token holders who lock their GRAIL for xGRAIL. Key features include dynamic directional fees, which allow projects to customize fee structures, and the 'Roundtable' partner network that integrates Camelot's liquidity directly with other Arbitrum protocols, enhancing overall composability.

Who Are the Founders of Camelot?

The founders of Camelot operate under the pseudonyms Myrddin and Zephram Lou. They are recognized as experienced blockchain developers who intentionally bootstrapped the project without VC funding to maintain a community-first approach. Their expertise lies in DeFi infrastructure and smart contract optimization within the Ethereum Layer-2 space.
