Guida al progetto MultiVM Labs | Aggiornamenti, prevendita e airdrop

Q: What is the Purpose of MultiVM Labs?

The primary goal of MultiVM Labs is to build a future-proof blockchain ecosystem that is immune to quantum computer attacks while enabling seamless interoperability between different virtual machine environments.

Q: How Can I Participate in MultiVM Labs's Ecosystem?

Users can participate by joining the developer testnet, contributing to their open-source GitHub repositories, or engaging with the community on Discord to qualify for future 'Genesis' rewards and airdrops.

Q: What Sets MultiVM Labs Apart from Competitors?

Unlike other L1 or L2 solutions that plan to migrate to post-quantum security later, MultiVM is built with NIST-standardized cryptography from day zero, eliminating 'migration debt' and potential security vulnerabilities during a transition.

Q: Is MultiVM Labs Secure?

Yes, security is a core pillar. The project is led by former security engineers from Halborn and Invicti, and the codebase utilizes RISC0 for zk-proof verification, ensuring high computational integrity.

Q: What are the Risks Associated with MultiVM Labs?

Potential risks include the complexity of implementing new cryptographic standards and the high level of competition in the Layer 1/Layer 2 market. The project manages these risks through rigorous security audits and a modular architecture that remains compatible with existing Ethereum tools.

What is MultiVM Labs?

MultiVM Labs is a research and development organization focused on building Quantum, a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain network. Its core mission is to solve the threat of quantum computing to blockchain security by implementing NIST-standardized post-quantum cryptography from the genesis block, ensuring long-term data integrity and security without the need for future emergency migrations.

How Does MultiVM Labs Work?

MultiVM Labs utilizes a modular architecture that integrates multiple virtual machines (VMs), such as the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), through a unique 'Cross-VM-Call' mechanism. This technology allows developers to invoke instructions across different VM environments seamlessly. Additionally, it leverages RISC0 and zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to provide a secure, multi-language execution environment that is fully compatible with existing Ethereum tooling.

What Makes MultiVM Labs Unique?

MultiVM Labs stands out for its 'Post-Quantum from Genesis' approach, avoiding the legacy cryptographic debt that affects most current blockchains. Its primary unique feature is the 'Quantum Circuit Network,' a native runtime for quantum jobs where users can submit circuits, run simulations, and verify results on-chain. It also features built-in compute markets where participants can earn rewards by providing hardware or simulation resources to the ecosystem.

Who Are the Founders of MultiVM Labs?

The project was founded by a team of industry veterans including Ivan Miskovic (CEO), formerly an executive at Spin Labs and a VC operator; Timur Guvenkaya (CTO), a security-focused leader who founded a Rust/Web3 security firm and previously worked at Halborn; and Dino Ivankovic (COO), who has extensive experience in Web3 partnerships and business development at the Umbrella Network.

What Key Events Have There Been for MultiVM Labs?

MultiVM Labs successfully raised $6.9 million in a funding round in May 2024, supported by investors such as The Spartan Group. In 2024, the team published its technical documentation for the Quantum Layer 1 and launched proof-of-concept tools, including a post-quantum smart wallet compatible with Arbitrum Stylus and ERC-4337 standards.

Project Announcements

MultiVM Labs recently announced the development of the 'Entanglement Bridge,' a native post-quantum bridge designed to connect classical EVM chains to the Quantum network securely. They also released a comprehensive suite of post-quantum cryptography tooling for Rust and TypeScript developers.
