The primary goal of OnRe is to provide investors with access to the reinsurance market's consistent returns by bridging traditional insurance markets with DeFi infrastructure, unlocking a new asset class and yield opportunity through blockchain-based risk transfer.

Investors can participate by depositing sUSDe into OnRe's reinsurance pool on the Solana blockchain, thereby gaining exposure to reinsurance yields. Additionally, the ONyc token can be used as collateral for other DeFi activities such as lending or borrowing.

OnRe differentiates itself by being fully licensed and compliant in key jurisdictions, offering real yield from actual insurance premiums rather than relying on token emissions, and providing a composable token (ONyc) that can be utilized across various DeFi platforms.

OnRe operates under a segregated accounts structure in Bermuda, ensuring investor funds are legally ring-fenced. It holds Class IIGB insurance and Class F Digital Asset Business (DABA) licenses, adhering to regulatory standards. Additionally, it employs multisig systems for fund management and records all transactions on-chain for transparency.
